In the lush green mountains, in a quiet corner of the Austrian Alps, I photographed Kiki — one of Purest Magazine’s long-time muses — in the morning light. The alpine air was crisp, the silence deep, broken only by the occasional call of a distant bird. Wrapped in nothing but the breath of a cloudy dawn, Kiki became part of the landscape — raw, graceful, unposed.
We worked with nothing but available light. No reflectors, no assistants — just the natural light, the the grass, and the rhythm of the moment. Kiki moved with quiet confidence, letting the wind and terrain shape each frame. She didn’t perform for the camera. She simply was.
As the morning unfolded, textures emerged: skin against rock, hair in the breeze, sunlight flickering through dark clouds. One frame found her balancing on the wooden basin of a well, clear, fresh water bubbling out of the pipe.
