Time for a new Purest Magazine gallery. Time for Candy Kate in Fragile
For this photo series, we focused on Shibari. My personal take on bondage/Shibari is not about degrading the model, but rather showcasing her strength, power, confidence, and vulnerability as she is immobilized.
The photos have a raw quality with gritty textures, yet they exude warmth due to the candlelight used for illumination. There’s more to these images than meets the eye – they leave room for secrets, interpretations, and imagination.
Candy Kate was a pleasure to work with; she displayed great confidence in me as an artist and brought passion and excitement to the shoot. What are your thoughts on this story? Would you also be interested in exploring this direction in your work?
